Christopher Bush/Catalyst Agri-Innovations Society
In our work we disassemble high volume, low value agricultural residual streams that many call "waste". From them we make Renewable Natural Gas, and use the revenue from that to further isolate the compounds that make up manure.

Bio: Catalyst Agri-Innovations Society started in 2009, with a mission, how to Power the World, Feed the People, Heal the Planet. In our work we disassemble high volume, low value agricultural residual streams that many call "waste". From them we make Renewable Natural Gas, and use the revenue from that to further isolate the compounds that make up manure. Through our partnership with Point 3 Biotech Corp, we supply the spec resources, for them to reassemble. Our immediate targets include gas fermentation, and methanol conversions through biological processes. We have a project underway with the Hallam Lab at UBC, funded by GenomeBC, to open a functional window into the microbial communities inside of a manure only digester.
